Support Services
Academic Success Centre
The Academic Success Centre (ASC) is an umbrella term for all the student support services in the Faculty of Education and Social Work. ASC is located in N Block (N321). Some of the student support staff are located in this area, while others are located in other parts of the campus.
ASC is also an area in which students can work. There are 12 computers, all with internet access and there are a number of tables set up where students can work collaboratively. The ASC also has an informal learning space in room N331 in the N block entrance available to all students.

Sylvia Ashton Warner Library - Epsom Campus
Much more than simply a study space containing resource books, the library and their staff are an excellent resource for students with services ranging from digital to one-on-one help. Education and Social Work Student Centre
The Education Student Centre manages student inquiries, selection, enrolment and programme advisement, in close consultation with programme leaders, teaching staff and the central university administration. The Centre is located on level 1 of A block. More information can be found here. |
Student Disability Services
Student Disability Services is part of the Equity Office – Te Ara Tautika, and our role is to support students with a range of impairments to succeed and excel within the University. The Learning Disabilities (LD) Programme supports students with specific learning and/or other invisible disabilities such as: dyslexia, dyspraxia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, attention deficit disorders and mental health conditions. Contact Rebekah Williams (r.williams@auckland.ac.nz), Student Disability Services, to be referred for a Learning Assessment.
